Having taken account of all the comments received
during the public consultation exercise, the plan has been amended
having balanced out the differing views offered. This has led
to a revised list of targeted actions, of which the key ones
are as follows

Establish a visual surveillance scheme
at DERA Aberporth to identify presence of dolphins

Develop an acoustic monitoring and
detection system

Ensure sewerage system and sewage
treatment improvements are completed to schedule

Ensure discharge consents comply
with consent requirements

Continue monitoring programme of
river and coastal waters

Review relevant discharge consents
in line with Habitats Directive requirements

Carry out pollution prevention visits
on a priority basis

Establish a code of practice for
dredging/disposal

Produce Harbour Maintenance Plans

Encourage all pollution incidents
to be reported to the relevant body

Investigate sources of litter found
during beach cleans and surveys

Undertake surveys to identify where
beach collection points may be needed
